Having bought several chairs from a local office supply company (none of which lasted more than 3 years, even though the last one was a $300+ chair), I gave up on their chairs. I tried to read reviews online and look through all the various options on Amazon. Finally I settled on the Sadie Executive chair. It arrived promptly, and it took me less than 30 minutes to assemble it with no one helping me. All the screws and screw holes lined up perfectly. I like the feel of the nice soft leather. I am 6’1″ and 225 pounds. The chair is plenty wide enough for me, and the adjustable height mechanism gets me to just the right height. Even though I have only just received the chair, it feels very comfortable and sturdy. Time will tell how it holds up. But I am very pleased with the purchase, and I would rate this a great deal for a $200 purchase. I am very pleased and would recommend this to others without reservation. By the way, I bought the brown leather model, and it looks great in my home office.

I have nothing to dislike about the Brown Leather Chair i purchased from Amazon Warehouse listed as used slightly damaged. The chair had no visible or mechanical damage. The box was damaged and i was missing a couple of screw covers where chair arms attach to chair. This made no problems to chair operations. As i use this chair in my home office missing screw cap did not pose visual problem. The chair sits very well. The leather seating and chair arms are very well made. The chair is very comfortable with firm seating. Chair has good adjustment for tension on rocking motion and leaning back in chair. I shop the Amazon Warehouse for great extra savings i suggest you should check it out if you like saving money.

Love sitting in this chair and so did my wife when she tried it. So we got another one for her. The chair looks good and is well constructed, but with lots of plastic parts – e.g. arm rests, legs. Hopefully the vinyl seat coverings will last. If they do fail after a few years, I’ll buy another one and will still save money over buying a real leather chair.Putting it together took about 20 minutes for the 1st one and less for the 2nd.

I am sitting on it now. The only issue is it seems to be permanently tipped forward sliding me off the seat. I can rock back and overcome the feeling but it is normally sliding you off the front of the chair. The chair is comfortable, soft, leather looks good, rolls and supports good. I am happy with the purchase. The quality seems very good for the price. The feeling of sliding off the front of the chair never quite leaves you. You will be OK as long as you rock back. My old chair which the leather flaked off, never made me feel this way. It is ODD.

I bought this chair for my father as his old one is more than broken! It went together fairly easy, with the exception that I paid too much attention to the pictures on the directions and not the labels on the product. (pictures showed adjuster arm on one side of the chair but the labels on the chair itself were the opposite) Once it was put together, my 9 year old wanted to be the one to sit in it and test it and as soon as she did, one of the wheels completely broke! So the fact that the product description says that it’s “durable even under heavy use” is completely misleading!

Putting it together is a job for two people. I spent part of two days trying to get it together. Now that I have it together I have been unable to get the chair in a position in which i do not fall off the seat. There is no instructions on how to do that.

Just received this chair in the mail and was impressed with its comfort, but the part that connects the chair to the base–with the hydraulic lever and the reclining mechanism–is broken, as the knob for reclining is stuck. I tried everything I can to get it unstuck, but it seems like I’ll have to return it or somehow get a replacement part. Would’ve been a five-star chair otherwise. Will update review after exhausting my options to get a single replacement part versus sending the entire chair back.

I’ve had several office executive chairs. This is the best one to date, at an affordable price. It is well made, attractive, and comfortable. The assembly instructions could be better, but it was relatively easy to put together.. I suggest you assemble the chair where you plan to use it. I put it together downstairs, then had to carry it up the stairs to my office, It is heavy.
