I am now a recovering Dewalt owner. These cordless tools are great. Battery life is very good and charge time is impressively low. The charger allows to charge two different types of batteries (the regular 18v and the little round ones). Great value for money, I cant believe I waited this long to go red. I am not disappointed.

First let me say that I tend to over-analyze things before I make a purchase. I researched Dewalt, Makita, Milwaukee, Ridgid and Hitachi. Its important to note, that all of these companies try to save money in one way or another. Some save by skimping on the features, some by using cheaper materials, and some are just plain putting out bad products.Dewalt, Makita and Milwaukee are typically what I see in the field as a contractor. They all have their pros and cons. One thing they also do is offer more powerful tools if they are purchased individually, which can be very expensive. For example, Dewalt is probably the biggest offender in that category. Just compare the sawzall and circ saw features of their kits, with the models that are sold individually.Well, I went with Milwaukee because I feel this kit offered me quality tools at a good price. 5 year warranty on tools, and 3 year on batteries. 6 tools in one package is exactly what I was looking for. Shipping was fast, package arrived in excellent condition, double boxed. Purchased on Amazon but sold and shipped by CPO.First impression, is that they are a bit on the heavy side, but I dont mind that. Solid feel and good balance overall. Circular saw included a rip fence and blade. One blade for sawzall. Impact driver included a belt hook. Grinder included 2 quick attach guards and a removable handle. I cant tell you how happy I am to see a green light on the battery charger. It may sound silly, but I find it very annoying when there is only a red light. When its green you are good to go, and the battery packs themselves have power indicators so you always know how much charge remains.One suggestion for Milwaukee! Please consider including bit holders for the drill and impact driver. I have found them online and the parts themselves are very cheap; so why not include such a useful item?I will be following up with this post after some real world use.

I got the whole tool kit as something to take on the road with me. I had used the drill but it’s small sizing makes it hard to get any good pressure on it with out covering the air vents in it. This is a problem on all tools that they try to minimize the size as a point of sale. The warranty with the tools is great as I had to get the drill looked at. I’ve used all the tools that came in my kit as well as the extra impact that I bought. They work great for small jobs but for bigger I still prefer my corded tools
