This is the second time I have bought this vacuum, only because it was stolen. I want this to have the One Key Support, which it does not. Suction power is moderate on high power with the 12A HD battery, which will last approximately 20-25 minutes. If you want this vac and don’t want to purchase $300 batteries which I wouldn’t blame you, then don’t buy this. Any battery less than the 12A just doesn’t have the power to run it. I have tried the 8A and 5A they just don’t have the push for it.One other notable gripe, is the handle. Where the hose and the vacuum handle connect together, it has the metal clip and raised square plastic bump. Which when vacuuming is really bothering, causes fatigue in the hand. There is no real good way to hold it without putting your palm on it. So I removed the metal clip and sanded the plastic bump off.Come on Milwaukee I know you see that.I also bought the 2 battery rapid charger and 2 12A HD batteries. Both do a great job.

I was used to the old style Milwaukee M18 tool box style vacuum. noisy, pretty good power, but very noisy. This backpack style is great,Pro’s quite, suction is great with 2 speeds canister is easy to empty, no lack of suction even if canister is 3/4 full, light weight on back or just carrying with the handle, nice metal hook to hang off Pack-out tote, filter is easy to clean. Battery life is decent on low setting, high will suck the battery dry in about 15 minutes (5 Ah battery)Con’s not enough onboard tool room, can only snap on flex hose and hose extension, flex hose metal clip is worthless as it never stays attached to vacuum.I am sure there will be another fine vacuum on its way with the new line-up Milwaukee tools has planned this year.

This was a great addition to my set of Milwaukee tools. I use a Roomba to vacuum my floors, but this is perfect for doing the stairs and landing in my bi-level home. The backpack is handy for vacuuming and its detach ability makes hanging it in my garage super easy. My only dislike is that the extendable wand doesn’t have a latch on the end to hold the attachments in place.

The goodI was a little hesitant because of the price but I can honestly say it was money well spent! Suction power is amazing, very quite and back straps fit nicely so its easy to keep on and continue to use!The not so goodIf I had to say anything negative it would be that the attachments are limited so hopefully they will be rolling some out! (Hint, hint Milwaukee) I talked to a Milwaukee rep at a Home Depot in store special and he said he hopes to see some attachments this year also.and a tipGet a big battery, this vacuum works great because it is using a LOT of power.

Bought this to use in home primarily to clean baseboards. Suction more than I expected. Heavier than I expected. Would love to see onboard tool storage for all tools and should come with a brush. Also would be improved if there was a way to hang such that one could put it on in the back pack configuration from hanging.

The battery it comes with does not last more than 15 minutes. Recommend buying a left beer lay 18v battery.

Great product. The on off switch is somewhat difficult to reach while it’s on your back. It’s also a fairly heavy unit to carry around for more than half an hour.

This is a great backpack vac for home and shop use. I can do about 1,200 sqft on a genuine 5.0 ah pack. Knock off packs of 4.0 or less don’t seem to function on this tool, but they do work on my other, lower flower demand Milwaukee tools. I don’t have any higher capacity knock off packs so I can’t speak as to their compatible. Great tool for the price and VersaTools was great to work with too.
