This cordless kit includes one 3/8-inch impact wrench, two 12V MAX* 2Ah batteries, charger, and tool bag. This cordless impact wrench is designed for hard to reach applications requiring tighting or loosening of nuts and bolts. At only 5.1-inch long it is packed to perform with 1,500 in-lbs of fastening torque and 2,400 in-lbs of breakaway torque. It also features 3 LED lights positioned on the nosecone to illuminate work areas. This DEWALT impact wrench is equipped with a 3-mode switch with Precision Wrench to help prevent overtightening and run off.

I used it to drive some Torx screws into 35 year old, rock hard wood. The wood fought back but the torque wrench did the job. I’d tried the job a week earlier using a typical battery powered drill motor, and was having to drill pilot holes in the old joist to sink them. The DeWALT cut an hour’s work to 5 minutes or less, and the battery still had 3 bars at the end.

Very-surprised at the overall-driving ability of this little 3/8 drive-bugger! Drove 5/16 x 7 inch lag-bolts into my mailbox-post like a deranged-madman, lol! Just one precaution: If you’re driving with it for more than maybe 15-seconds per each hard usage? Wear at least a light-duty pair of gloves, because the vibration at “full-throttle” will, and does, rock your world just like it’s “cousin”, the pneumatic-impact…except minus the hose to trip-over…!
