The DEWALT 60 V MAX chainsaw features a low kick back 16 In. Oregon bar and chain for both construction and outdoor cutting applications. Its tool-free chain tensioning and bar tightening knob enable proper bar clamping force, and it features auto-oiling for continuous lubrication. It has a 60 V MAX FLEXVOLT battery that Powers 60 V MAX tools or it can be backwards compatible to work with 20 V MAX tools.

Purchases this for clearing trails and carrying with me on my ATV and SXS while out in the woods. I have professional serious gas chainsaws and wanted something light and easy to toss in the back of my UTV. I’ve now used this saw multiple times and ran it through several batteries and all I can say is wow. I’m in love. I havent even looked at my gas saws since this baby arrived. Battery life is impressive, but I purchased 2 of the 9.0amp hour batteries in addition. They seem to last forever. I have yet to need more than 2 batteries out all day in the woods. I have had no issues with bar oil leaking like others have mentioned… but I also clean it after heavy use. Simple enough. The saw is light and easy to carry around and is impressive with what it’ll cut. I cut a few downed trees up this saw should have had no business cutting but I tried and not only did it work, it worked amazingly well. One tree was 30 inches diameter. Had to cut both sides but it handled it no problem! The chain hasn’t need sharpened yet and probably has a solid 4 hours of use on it. Still sharp. I know it’s expensive I was apprehensive about buying it due to the price…don’t be. Just buy it and thank me later.

Like some, I got just plain tired of trying to start these gas chainsaws. This DeWalt battery chainsaw is absolutely the best product I have ever bought for clearing out saplings and removing smaller undesirable trees.Just jump of the quad , cut and run!!No more hauling gas, oil mixing, no more earplugs and no more trying to start a gas version each time I stop. Not to say the least much lighter.Highly recommended.

Wish there was a purchase button to buy all things that DeWalt makes. I love their products that much. They are durable, work fantastic, look fantastic. I have been buying everything DeWalt and hope to have my garage fully outfitted some day. I have purchased most essentials and now the fun begins 🙂

Almost, haha be super careful and read the whole document as-well as watch a bunch of YouTube videos cause oh boy, using a chainsaw with sandals, gym shorts, and no gloves, no safety glasses is sketchy. Had to order some safety equipment cause the dust gets in your eyes, and it slips a little bit without good handling and steady control.

Dewalt has been my 20v reliable tools for sometime now. This saw looks well made and have yet to really test it. Quality is what i felt when i briefly checked it out. Oregon bar and chain. Well done. Oil cap is solid. Adjuster is easy, no tools needed. Seems like a value. I am a Stihl man wth 7 saws. Hoping this will do the small stuff well. Looks good.

Love itNo gripes with dewalt, just as good of quality as there older battery tools, im giving it a 4 star however cause there seems to be oil leakage from the tank, at first i thought it was just a bit of oil leaking off the chain after being used but the size of the pubble 24hr later told me different, idk if this is common for chainsaws or this perticular model but if i store it on its side it seems not to leak… othe wise worth the money, its a bit lighter then the gas counter part of the same size, cuts good and quick
