I bought 3 drills. I’ll list pros and cons of each.1. Random name brand, item B07VFCR85S. This one feels good in the hand, has good controls and a good balanced feel, similar to a DeWalt. It’s very lightweight. The battery charger is very basic and tiny, fitting inside the case. Comes with 2 batteries, some cheap bits, which works for the most part, and a hard case. Overall, good starter drill set. Batteries last a long time even after hours of usage.It also has a light that tells you how much battery is left. However, it’s got a 3/8 chuck so it won’t be able to use big 1/2 inch drill bits.2. DeWalt DCD771C2, item B00ET5VMTU. Good ergonomic design. Comes with 2 batteries and a decent bag to carry other tools, which you need to buy. Doesn’t come with anything. Noisy motor clicks after releasing trigger. Would have been nice to have a hard case though.3. Worx WX102L, item B08XSJ6B13. Comes with 1 battery and a very cheap carry bag, similar to cheap reusable bags, and no real tools. The design is poorly thought out. The shorter back end means as you pick up the drill, it is heavier on the front end and the tool starts to droop forward. It’s not balanced. It also feels a slight bit heavier. The battery release button is in the back, not the front so it’s very awkward to remove. The other two drills, you basically cup the bottom of the battery and press the release with your thumb and slide. This one, you have to reverse your hand, press with your thumb and have to spread your fingers to hold the front end of the battery. Harder to do and very awkward. The alternative is you point the drill to your face to remove the battery. Also, the 1 and 2 speeds are not in the same position as the other two drills. Finally, the controls are not fine like the other two drills. Barely pressing the trigger sends a lot of power and it starts spinning rapidly. After releasing the trigger, the DeWalt stops spinning immediately whereas this one continues to spin for a second. Going to return the Worx.BTW, sparks are normal for non-brushless motors. Brushless motors don’t spark and lasts longer.

So I’m not a DIY sort of person. I will usually call someone in before I do it myself. However, I had a couple of small projects I wanted to do and I’ve never bought a drill before. I did a bit of research on brands to see which would be best for the projects I planned and came up with DeWalt.I’m very happy with the product. Both the drill and the bits I purchased were high quality and the instruction book that came with the drill was easy to understand even for someone who doesn’t use power tools.The drill was easy to use and the batteries held their charge well. I used it to bolt a wood splitter to a large tree stump with no trouble. I also used it to drill holes in some hardy-plank siding and was very happy with its performance.

I only buy Dewalt power tools because they are very durable and dependable. I have had some of mine for 15-20 years and they are still working. I really like the fact that batteries and chargers are interchangeable. The battery life on this drill/driver lasts a long time. The power of the battery operated tools are strong enough to get any job done and cordless makes it easy to do the job without having to drag extension cords around in order to use it. Great quality product at a great price.

I bought this for small projects around the apartment. Assembling furniture etc. Haven’t had it long. Only a month or two but have already used it to assemble a bathroom storage cabinet and 2 hallway storage units. Comes with 2 batteries but I’ve never ran out of power on ONE during my little projects that only take a coupla-few hours. Love it comes with its own storage bag as well.

I’ve owned a DeWalt battery Drill for quite sometime – one of the “earlier models” and it has served me well. Now I own the DeWalt 20v kit and I’m really excited. I work on small wood projects, at home, as a hobby. This new drill will be a great replacement compared to my earlier model, and a continuance of a great tool to add to my collection of tools. 5🌟 for overnight delivery less than 24hrs that beats the record holder of 26.5 from last year. And far as the DeWalt drill package deal, even a blind man could see that’s the best deal from DeWalt they have on just drill only. I had already ordered just a DeWalt drill only for $79.00 the day before. And this package deal popped up on my Amazon page for $99.00. I was A student in math and when I saw bag+charger+battery+battery+ drill for $20 more! I went straight to checkout before they were sold out. If you need a good for around the house or barn and work shop. This drill package deal fills that need with long life and durability. And the built-in lite makes seeing what your doing and or flash light when your in the dark. Good luck if they have any left?

I like the product a lot. Not delighted with the charger as it is tricky to properly insert the battery, The bag is superfluous to my needs and I have no idea where it ended up. I guess if you are a jobber it can be handy. The power is good and the variable speed trigger is easy to control. I have many DeWalt tools and they rarely disappoint.
