Love the drill itself, but unfortunately I was not able to locate any switch or dial which would allow me to put this drill into hammer drill mode. The owners manual states on page 10 under“Hammerdrilling.:”.“Turn the mode selector 5 to the hammer symbol then pull the the trigger, applying just enough pressure on the hammer to keep it from bouncing excessively or rising off the bit.”But unfortunately the mode selector has no hammer symbol to turn to…very annoying.I called Amazon and the agreed to give me a partial refund because the product did not arrive as advertised. I can’t complain about that. Thanks Amazon. If they didn’t do that I would have given this a 3 star review.But if you really need the hammer drill option it doesn’t appear that this drill is for you…unless I am missing something. If I am wrong please let me know what I am overlooked or missed.
