This brushless small cordless angle grinder requires no time changing brushes, and offers a longer motor life. DEWALT cordless grinder offers a high level of protection. Its break stops the wheel in 2 seconds or less. The Kickback Break engages maximum force to stop the wheel when there is a pinch, stall, or bind-up to reduce kickback. The grinder will also shut off in those events to further protect the user. Battery and charger are sold separately.

Same tool at HD is $179. Why pay more for the same tool when you can get it for less. Exactly as advertised. Between Milwaukee, Makita, and De Walt I chose De Walt as their line of Brushless 20v tools are more than enough for all my home DIY maintenance and projects and their prices are better.Now have a comrehensive set of cordless De Walt tools that exceed the needs of your typical home owner for DIY projects at a fraction of the price of the other notable brands.This grinder is great and likely won’t actually get much use but I’m glad I have it for any application it may be good for.

As part of a full renovation of a main bathroom, including the installation of ceramic tile on the floor, and in the custom walk-in shower, I knew that I would need a grinder to finish inside and outside corners that I couldn’t cut with the wet saw.I’ve been a big fan of Dewalt and have several other cordless products and this grinder was a great addition to my tool set.It was safe, simple, and easy to use for the bathroom renovation.I have no doubt that I will be using this product for other projects as they come up.My pro tip here is regarding battery life and this product. While I didn’t purchase an additional battery, knowing that I already had three, I did notice that battery life was somewhat limited. No worries, knowing that I had to back ups, fully charged, I had no problem rotating them through and this did not in any way interfere with me getting the job done.

This grinder has been an awesome addition to my toolbox. When paired with a charged battery you are ready to get to work. DeWalt makes great tools and this one is no exception! If you need to cut through or grind down something, this tool should be your go to.

Love that it’s cordless. I’ve wanted one for awhile. Have numerous Dewalt tools already.I used my new toy to cut tin to size for a garage. I absolutely HATE to be dragging a cord everywhere. Dewalt has NEVER failed me. I just kick myself for not getting one sooner. But, I have one now and couldn’t be happier.

Disc attachment is easy and quick. Paddle switch took some getting used to, but works well.Love the brushless motor.
